Trisha Goddard

Trisha Goddard is a trailblazing broadcaster and mental health campaigner whose career reflects a rare combination of global influence, emotional intelligence and journalistic integrity. Her journey began in Australia, where she became the first Black host of a national current affairs programme and anchored popular TV series for nearly two decades. She gained international fame after launching her eponymous daytime talk show in the UK in 1998, which ran on ITV and later Channel 5 until 2010, tackling complex personal and social issues with empathy, honesty and courage  . Her decision to appear on Celebrity Big Brother in April 2025 was inspired by her desire to normalize conversations about life with chronic illness and reach a broader audience with her advocacy message  .
